About the OSCE
An Objective Structured Clinical Examination is an exam where candidates rotate through timed stations. Each station gives a clinical task, such as taking a history or examining a patient, with a standardized patient and an examiner who scores a checklist.
Medical, PA, nursing and EMS schools use OSCEs, and so do national exams such as the NAC exam of the Medical Council of Canada.
