This document outlines how the game Alehundred handles and processes your data.
Alehundred requires permission to access the microphone solely to enable real-time voice chat features between players during multiplayer sessions. We do not record, store, or analyze your voice data. The audio is transmitted via Epic Online Services to facilitate gameplay communication.
Alehundred utilizes Epic Online Services (EOS) to facilitate multiplayer connectivity. Real-time gameplay actions during active sessions are transmitted peer-to-peer (P2P) directly between players. Persistent player data (such as gameplay progress, in-app purchase status, friends list, and preferences) is stored by Epic Games, Inc. on EOS Player Data Storage (PDS) servers located in the United States. Alehundred does not operate its own servers and does not collect or sell gameplay data for advertising or analytics purposes.
Alehundred accesses the following data through platform APIs to provide core game functionality. Some data is only read at runtime and discarded at session end, while other data is persisted on EOS Player Data Storage (operated by Epic Games, Inc. in the United States) to enable cross-platform progress and multiplayer features. Each data type below specifies its handling.
User ID: Your platform-issued identifier is used for multiplayer networking (lobbies, P2P connections, host migration), age-appropriate matchmaking, voice chat participant identification, in-app purchase verification, leaderboard ranking, and lobby invitations. Processed by Epic Online Services in the United States.
Display Name: Your platform username is shown as your in-game name in multiplayer surfaces such as lobbies, leaderboards, friends lists, and in-game nameplates.
Age Group: Your age category, provided by the platform you are playing on, is used to assign you to an age-appropriate matchmaking pool.
In-App Purchases: In-app purchases unlock additional content. Payment processing is handled entirely by the platform store, and Alehundred does not collect or store payment information. Purchase status is synced to EOS Player Data Storage (Epic Games, United States) so that purchased access persists across devices and cross-platform.
Data Processor: Epic Games, Inc. (United States) processes gameplay data through Epic Online Services to provide multiplayer networking, voice chat, player data storage, and related game services on behalf of Alehundred.
Alehundred does not collect emails, passwords, or payment details. Authentication is performed by your respective platform store, then linked to an Epic Online Services Product User ID (PUID), which Alehundred uses for player identification across sessions and platforms.
Alehundred asks all players to provide their year and month of birth when they first set up the game. We use your year and month of birth to determine an age-appropriate matchmaking pool and to enforce our minimum age requirement of 13. On platforms that provide an age signal (such as Meta Quest, and Apple or Google in regions where required by law), that signal is used to confirm or correct the age category. Your year and month of birth is stored through Epic Online Services and is used only for age determination and related anti-fraud and audit purposes. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. Players who indicate they are under 13 are not permitted to play, and we do not retain information for blocked users.
You can delete your player data at any time using the in-app account management menu (Settings > Delete Account). This permanently removes all player data stored by the game on EOS Player Data Storage, including gameplay progress, friends list, in-app purchase status, and preferences. You may also request data deletion by emailing contact@alehundred.com.
Alehundred is intended for players aged 13 and older. Players under 13 are not permitted to create an account or play. We do not knowingly collect or retain personal information from children under 13.
