The Original Tale
"The Seven Ravens" is a fairy tale collected by the Brothers Grimm, first published in 1812. It tells the story of seven brothers who are transformed into ravens by a curse, and their brave sister who journeys to the ends of the earth to save them.
It is a story about sacrifice, determination, and the unbreakable bond of family. Themes that run deep through every era of Alehundred.
The Alehundred Reimagining
In Alehundred, the seven ravens are loyal guardians of a princess, cursed by a shadowy entity and banished to different historical eras. Each raven is trapped atop a giant diorama that encapsulates a moment in time.
You are one of The Hundred, a tiny adventurer merely 10 centimeters tall. From The Ale, a sacred forest hub, you travel through magic portals, conquer the challenges of each era, and free the ravens one by one. Only by gathering all seven Magic Gems can the spell be broken and the princess rescued.
